About the position

As a production manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing daily production towards set goals in quality, delivery, profitability, work environment, and employee engagement. The work involves optimizing production by implementing continuous improvements of routines and follow-ups to ensure a cost-effective production of the highest quality. The role includes resource planning, onboarding and training of staff, and responsibility for daily management. You will play a central role in the implementation and follow-up of 5S in production. You will lead, coach, and develop 20 employees in production through individual employee conversations. You will be part of the management team together with the CEO and Production Manager.

Your main responsibilities

In the role of production manager, you will have varied and developing tasks.

- Responsible for daily management and leadership of staff

- Ensure a good work environment, well-being, and compliance with safety routines

- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff

- Responsible for resource planning, employee conversations, and competence development

- Ensure efficiency, quality, and delivery precision in production

- Drive and participate in improvement work within production, flow, and working methods

- Implement and follow up on 5S in production

- Material ordering and purchasing

- Participate in the management team together with the CEO and Production Manager

- Contribute with a production perspective in operational and strategic decisions

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in leadership within the manufacturing industry. You have a natural ability to lead, engage, and develop employees, and through good leadership and communication skills, as well as presence, you build trusting relationships. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of production flows, quality, and delivery requirements. You have high engagement, are structured, and master delegating important work to others. We value a solution-oriented and unpretentious attitude and leadership that focuses on the goals of the business.

You have experience with business systems and the Office suite. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license. It is a merit if you have knowledge of LEAN and/or 5S and experience from surface treatment, process industry, or similar operations.
